NOWE Money B.V. is not a bank and does not provide credit services. NOWE accounts and cards are issued under Mastercard(R) license by Equals Money International Limited (United Kingdom), a payment institution authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect data necessary to create, manage, and secure your account. The types of data collected include:

• Identification data: first name, last name, date of birth, nationality, identity document.
• Contact data: email address, postal address, phone number.
• Financial data: IBAN, transactions, balance, incoming/outgoing payments.
• Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, cookies.
• Marketing data: behavior on our site, ad campaigns (Google, Meta, LinkedIn).

4. Sharing your data

• Equals Money International Limited (UK) - for issuing and managing your account and card.
• Service providers: IT vendors, hosting, customer support, and marketing.
• Legal authorities: when required by law or financial regulation (e.g., anti-money laundering).

Data transfers outside the EU are governed by standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

5. Retention period

We retain your data:

• For the duration of your customer relationship.
• Then for 5 years after account closure, in accordance with financial and anti-money-laundering obligations.
